The Coffee in Good Spirits competition tests a barista’s ability to prepare and serve coffee-based cocktails. Here is a summary of the rules for the competition:
- Competitors must prepare and serve two original coffee-based cocktails
- Competitors may use any coffee brewing method, and may also use any additional ingredients, such as spirits, liqueurs, syrups, and spices.
- Competitors are judged based on four criteria: sensory balance, technical skill, creativity, and presentation.
- Competitors are also evaluated on their overall performance, including their ability to engage with the judges and their audience.
The rules for the Coffee in Good Spirits competition may be subject to change, and competitors are encouraged to review the latest rules and regulations prior to the competition.
